![]() You will find options to "optimize" your ebook throughout the software, such as with this option to Optimize and save from the File menu. To prevent the loss of your work, it is recommended to continuously save your file, or Save As, if you wish to save your work under a new name. To do so, click on File > Import From, then choose either a PDF, HTML or DOCX file to import. This option allows you to use an existing PDF, HTML or Word file to export content from in varying degrees. This option allows you to select a book from this list, select File > Open recent and find the file from there. Kotobee Author keeps track of up to 20 recent ebook projects you have worked on. Choose the file you want to use and click Open. They are based on the EPUB format, which is why you can simply open any EPUB file in Kotobee Author as well. Any project file you save on Kotobee Author has the extension KPUB2. To do that, select File > Open (KPUB2, EPUB). This option allows you to use an already existing project file. Choose the type of layout you'd like and start writing once the blank space opens. This option allows you to open up a blank ebook for you to start from scratch.
